Sims Designs was
conceived and established in 2002. We felt there was a niche in the
market for a company to provide 'value for money' custom website designs. Sims
Designs was established and initially run on a part-time basis, but due to it's success converted to a full-time operation in 2003.
We offer a full range of Internet services - As well as website design
and website redesigns we offer basic and full optimisation services,
marketing and promotion advice and search engine submission services.
All websites designed by Sims Designs are perceived as 'value for money',
as all our designs are bespoke and designed to the clients own requirements
We offer excellent domain name and hosting packages, all our sites are
optimised for the main search engines as standard and all our sites are submitted
to the search engines. We follow all of our sites closely
after completion making any necessary alterations and adjustments cost free.

Our web design company in North Devon has a team of design staff involved with the company and
various freelancers to call upon should you have any special requirements
or requests. There are currently four staff members:

Chris Black, Specialist database programmer
Chris began his career as a website designer and is confident with HTML,
CSS and JavaScript as well as the major HTML authoring software. He
became interested in the background workings of websites and is now
fluent in both Perl and PHP. He specialises in writing custom built
software and php programming that meets the precise needs of our clients.
Whether you're looking for php programming, or a site that interacts with a database, allowing
you to manage the content of your site or something far more complex
Chris will be able to help. E-Commerce is also another large
area of Chris' expertise. As a uk php programmer he has worked with Worldpay, PayPal, 2checkout,
NoChex, Protx and many other payment processors and is familiar with
their policies and technical aspects. He is able to offer advice about
all manner of online payments.

For complex artwork, character design and logo design, Andy is one of
the best.
