The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind I will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to me by the client.

If you would like to use my services all you need to do is inform me of the domain name you would like to use and send over a brief idea of your requirements. You can check domain name availability here. I’ll then purchase the domain in your name, purchase the right hosting package for your project and then based on your guidance,design an initial web page for you. This is then refined/changed in consultation with the client until a design has been signed off. I will then need you to forward content and images for your site and start to design the website for you.

The cost of a WordPress website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. A basic WordPress website will cost approx £400, a simple Ecommerce site £950+, a complex Ecommerce site/Database driven site £1,500+.

Obviously each site has to be treated on it’s individual requirements, but these figures should give you an idea of a ballpark figure. I request a 50% deposit for all projects. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project. Payment can be made by cheque, Bank transfer or by using Payal. The only ongoing costs will be your annual hosting fee & domain name renewal.

All designs are created and conceived from your requirements. I aim to give all of my clients ‘value for money’ websites, granted you may find a cheaper offer out there and no doubt a lot more expensive solutions, but I offer decent solutions and great prices with the added value of a personal touch.

All web pages should be ‘optimised’. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine ranking, it revolves around the meta tags on your web pages, a web page that isn’t optimised won’t appear in the search engines to any great degree.
